Dear Stampers,
As many of you know, 2007 has been a challenging year for me. I lost my precious Mom in February, and then suddenly and unexpectedly lost my best friend and husband, Bernie, in May. I have been running the family business, Audio Techni Services and my friends, Gail Austin, Debbi George, Gina Growe, Judy Krietler, Judy Hauffe and Madeline White have been handling Prairie Art Stamps (very nicely, I might add). The time has come to make a tough decision. I have decided to close Prairie Art Stamps. Saturday, November, 24th will be the last day to shop at the store.
The month of November will be sale month. We will continue to be open regular hours with the exception of Thanksgiving Day. Everything will be at least 25% off. There will be sale tables with items reduced as much as 75%. Plan to shop early for the best selection.
We plan to have a booth at the Shop and Crop show at the Orr Building twice a year. During these shows, we’ll conduct mini-workshops and have demonstrations. We also plan to have longer, more involved workshops for the Prairie Stampers stamp club. We will even do a trunk show from time to time. We will keep you abreast of these events by email and on prairieartstamps.com
There is an online stamping supply catalog called Paper Craft Source This site contains most all of the supplies that you may need for your art and craft addiction. (Only a few Tim Holtz stamps though). From this site, you can create a ‘wish list’. You can copy and paste it into an email and send to me. Or you can print it and snail mail it to me. I will be happy to place orders for you and arrange for pick up. I will have to limit method of payment to cash or check.
We hope to maintain and cultivate the friendships that have grown as a result of our connection at Prairie Art Stamps. If we can maintain communication within the group, then we can continue to share tips and creative ideas with one another. One way of doing this is through Prairie Stampers. If you are not a member of the Stamp Club and would like to know more about it, please contact Gail Austin at 217-625-7486 or me at terri@prairieartstamps.com
I’ve learned this year, nobody knows what the future holds.
Happy stamping everyone, and God Bless You during this Holiday Season!
Terri
